Xingu Mata Viva

The Xingu Mata Viva Project is located in the north-northeast of the state of Mato Grosso, occupying the right bank of the Xingu River Basin, and confined by Pará to its North and Tocantins to the east.

The properties belonging to the core Xingu are located in the following municipalities:

São Félix do Xingu, Curumaru do Norte, Santana do Araguaia in Para State;

Matupá, Peixoto de Azevedo, Santa Cruz do Xingu, Vila Rica, Santa Terezinha, Luciara, Porto Alegre do Norte, Confresa, São José do Xingu, Marcelândia, União do Sul, Feliz Natal, São Félix do Araguaia, Canabrava do Norte, Querência, Alto da Boa Vista, in the state of Mato Grosso;

Formoso do Araguaia, Lagoa da Confusão e Pium, in Tocantins state.
